Wondering what resources I use for my studies?  Here they are!

Online Resources and Software:

Accordance Bible Software is for the serious bible student.  This is the software I personally use the most.  Yes this is expensive and no I do not have all of the modules yet.  However, what I like about this program is that you are really purchasing a license rather than a single software program.  This enables you to download the program on your home computer, laptop, iPad, and iPhone.  The software easily syncs all of your notes to each device, which can be handy when you are on the run like so many of us are these days.  Accordance has some great commentaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias, maps, Greek and Hebrew lexicons, books, and more.  I know I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of everything this program can do.  There really is too much for me to mention here so if you're interested just click on the link and check them out.  Oh and Accordance was previously only designed for Mac users, but they just came out with a PC version.

Olive Tree Bible Study app  is a great contender for bible study software.  They just came up with a new interface that is visually appealing and easy to use, especially for the novice user.  I like their new version so well I think I may find myself using that more than Accordance for when I'm away from my home computer.  Olive Tree will periodically send out special offers for additional commentaries, bible dictionaries, maps, and books that you can purchase on sale

and they even offer free books from time to time.

Bible Study Tools is my go-to online resource.  It offers a wide range of bible translations as well as typical resources such as commentaries, dictionaries, concordances, and a Greek and Hebrew Lexicon.  You can view the text (KJV) in an interlinear view for easier Greek and Hebrew studies.  They have a handy link under each text search that allows you to compare the scriptures across twenty-five different translations.  The best part - this one is free!

Of course I would be remiss if I didn't say that God (through daily prayer) was my ultimate authority and resource.
